Get Google AdSense Account Approval In 2024

As being a leader in the highest paying advertising programs, AdSense has some criteria that they follow to approve or disapprove your account.

I’ve mentioned all the things that you should keep in mind before applying for an AdSense account.

I have seen people searching for things like “how to get Google AdSense approval in 1 minute”.

First of all, it doesn’t work this way. You can’t get your AdSense account approved this fast ever.

You must follow the protocol that’s designed by Google itself.

The AdSense approval criteria, according to Google, is a mix of some said and unsaid things. Some of the things they have mentioned on their blog and their support pages. While there are some things that you know only by experience.

In case you’ve already applied and got disapproved, make sure you fulfill everything mentioned below before applying again:

Post Fresh & Quality Content

Content is the most important out of all. This point is a total no-brainer.

What’s a blog when it doesn’t have content? It’s like a barren land.

Update your site regularly. Add high-quality, unique content. Do not copy content from someone else’s website.

Your content has to be original because Google is stringent when it comes to dealing with plagiarism.

Content Is The Key

There is no fixed number of articles required for AdSense approval.

But to make sure you have enough content to make Google understand your site better, have at least 15-20 articles with the word length of 2000+

Articles must be well written with proper structure and format. It’s an excellent AdSense approval trick. Below are some points to keep in mind:

  • Add appropriate headings like H1, H2, H3, H4, etc.
  • Headings show the hierarchy of your site’s content, i.e., use H1 only once, H2 to define main headings, H3 for subheadings, and H4 for sub-subheadings.
  • Instead of writing long sentences and paragraphs, divide the content into short sentences with paragraph-length of 3-4 lines.
  • Use images when necessary. Images help you effectively convey your message.
  • Use proper ALT tags for images to make Google understand what your image is all about.
  • Interlink your articles wherever possible.
  • Use proper styling like bold, underline, and italic to make your articles look professional and authentic.

The Niche of your Site or Content

A niche is what your site or content is all about. Your niche also matters the most.

There are some niches that Google strictly doesn’t allow. If you have content related to any of the niche mentioned below then it’s better to remove it to get AdSense approved:

  • Adult / Pornographic / Sexual Content
  • Hacking / Cracking / Warez
  • Weapons & Guns
  • Poker / Gambling
  • Phishing
  • Drugs & Pharmacy
  • any other Illegal stuff

If your site is completely based on any of the niches mentioned, then it’s better that you don’t apply for AdSense. Because you’re going to end up getting your account banned anyway.

But if you have some specific content that is related to these niches, then it’s good to remove the content from your site.

After that, make sure that you request content removal from Google’s index. Make sure your site’s niche is relevant to get AdSense approval.

Website Speed & Structure

In 2024, your website’s authority is directly influenced by how fast it loads.

The number of mobile internet users is increasing with each passing day. Due to that, Google expects your site to load quickly, especially on mobile devices.

Website Speed

Test your site with Google’s free tool, PageSpeed Insights. This tool analyzes your website and recommends all the possible changes you should make to your site to improve its load times.

Try to score at least 80 in both desktop and mobile page analysis. The higher your score gets, the faster your site loads.

Your site’s structure has to be user-friendly to get AdSense approval. That means proper menus, navigation, colors, fonts, spacing, etc. Try this tutorial to supercharge site load time & reduce TTFB by 947% using Cloudflare.

Overall, a well-designed premium theme is always beneficial for your site in the long run.

Google Analytics & Search Console Integration

The more Google knows about your site, the better your chances get for AdSense approval.

By integrating Google Analytics tracking code to your site, you share all your site’s traffic and performance stats with Google. This helps them to analyze whether your traffic is sufficient or not. Plus, they can track your site’s traffic sources.

Traffic Sources

Your site has to have traffic from Organic Search, Direct, and Social sources. If your site is getting traffic from all the three sources, then that means your traffic profile is healthy, and you are eligible to get AdSense approval.

Verify your site on Google Search Console or Webmaster Tools.

You can control and analyze your site’s performance in Google search results using it. Make sure your website is indexed on Google before you apply for AdSense.

Submit a sitemap using Search Console to get your site indexed as soon as possible.

Use Top-Level Domain (TLD)

A top-level domain like .com or .org. or .net can potentially increase your chances of getting approved by AdSense.

TLDs are globally applicable domains, and Google usually gives them a high priority. But it’s not something you need to worry about if your site is built on a Country Specific Domain like .in

If you are starting a new blog, then try to go for a TLD.

Google considers other factors, too, so it’s not a strict rule that you need to follow.

Also, getting AdSense approval for Blogger subdomains like xyz.blogspot.com is not at all easy these days.

So, I would suggest you invest a few bucks and get a TLD to get AdSense approval fast.

Age of your Domain Name

Domain’s age is typically not a deciding factor, but in countries like India and Pakistan, it is.

You need to age your domain name for at least six months to strengthen your chances of acceptance into the AdSense program.

But this rule doesn’t always apply.

Domain Age

If you think that your site is gaining popularity in a short period, then you can apply for AdSense at any time.

In other countries, this rule doesn’t exist. As soon as you fulfill other criteria, you can apply for AdSense.

This six months rule has been introduced by Google AdSense to prevent the selling of accounts.

People made this a business of selling AdSense accounts by getting approval for newly bought domains. The more you age your domain, the higher its chances of getting AdSense approval.

Add Important Pages

There are some relevant pages that Google checks whether your site has them or not. These pages are as follows:

  • About Us
  • Contact Us
  • Disclaimer
  • Privacy Policy

These pages are must, and your website needs to have them before you apply for AdSense.

Every page has a specific purpose.

About page helps Google to understand what’s your goal of creating the site.

Contact page tells them that a real person is operating the site and you can contact him/her.

Disclaimer page helps Google understand the extent of your liability for the outcome of the use of your site.

And finally, the Privacy Policy page tells Google what you collect from your site’s users and why. It’s a must-follow trick to get AdSense approval.

Drive Organic Traffic

If your site is getting some organic traffic, then that means your pages are indexed on Google SERPs and ranking too for some keywords.

That’s a positive sign that Google considers while approving your application for AdSense.

Website Traffic Optimization

Google can clearly see your traffic if you’ve integrated Google Analytics tracking code to your site as mentioned above.

Now it depends on you how you much organic reach your site has.

Make sure that your site is getting at least 50 organic visits every day.

The best way is to write keyword-rich articles. Social bookmark them, later on, to get them indexed on SERPs as soon as possible.

Build quality backlinks by guest posting, directory submission, by participating in the forums, etc.

Target low competitive keywords to rank faster. You’ll see a growth in your site’s organic traffic gradually. A site with organic traffic is always eligible to get AdSense approval.

Use AdSense Supported Languages

AdSense supports not every language at the moment. There are only some specific languages that Google allows.

If your site has any of the languages as a primary language, then only you can apply for AdSense.

AdSense Supported Languages

Enter 100% Correct Information While Applying

Once you have made sure that your site meets all the criteria mentioned above, it’s time to apply for the AdSense program finally. But you have to be careful at this stage too. You just can’t fill anything in the application form.

Below are some crucial points to keep in mind:

  • Never try to cheat the system by filling in wrong information to get AdSense approval
  • Don’t try to create multiple accounts
  • Use your own Google account for creating AdSense account
  • Never apply for the website again that has been permanently banned by AdSense before
  • Make sure you correctly fill your Account / Payee name because it is almost impossible to change it later

Use Custom G Suite Email (Optional)

If you have a custom email configured with G Suite or Google Apps, then use it to apply for your AdSense account.

It will give you leverage only if the email has the same domain in it that you are trying to get AdSense approved for.

AdSense account can be created using a Google account only that means you can only use your @gmail.com email address.

G Suite

But if you have a Google Apps subscription, then you can set up a custom email with your Google account. So it will look something like this [email protected]

This step is not necessary as not everyone has a G Suite subscription. It’s useful only if you already have a subscription and want to make the most out of it.

Comply With Google Webmaster Guidelines

AdSense is not the only web service that Google owns. Google is the most used site and search engine in the entire world.

So, just like any other system, they have their own set rules in the form of Google Webmaster Guidelines.

If you actively follow these guidelines, then according to Google, your site will always be favored by them in terms of monetization and rankings.

Google suggests a few things to keep in mind as a webmaster. Have a look at complete Google Webmaster Guidelines here.

AdSense Approval Time

There is no fixed answer to this. For some publishers, the account activation takes place between 24 to 48 hours, and for others, it can take several weeks.

Also, there are some parts of the process that require actions on your end like adding ad code. So, AdSense activates your account only after you complete them.

Important points to help get your account activated:

  • Copy the code exactly as it appears on your AdSense homepage. No modifications allowed
  • Place the code only on the site that you provided when you created your AdSense account
  • Make sure that you place the code on a page that has content and receives regular visitors

If your account is taking a very long time to activate, then make sure your site or the page where you placed the code is getting regular views.

Blogger AdSense Approval

Just like any other platform, a blogger blog will also get you your AdSense account approval using the same tricks. Though there are a few things, you need to know.

One of our readers asked this query “how to qualify for AdSense through Blogger”. So, this section is all about it.

As mentioned above, a free subdomain will not get AdSense approved for Blogger blog. For that, you need at least a custom domain.

Domain names are not that costly, and purchasing one will always help you in the long run. Buy a domain name and add it to your Blogger or Blogspot blog.

Also, never apply for AdSense through your Blogger dashboard. If Google approves such an account, it will be limited to Blogger only.

You won’t be able to use it anywhere else other than your Blogger sites. This kind of account is known as “self-hosted AdSense account”

Always apply through AdSense’s site by adding the code to your site manually. In this way, your “non-hosted AdSense account” will be approved which you can use anywhere.

Final Words

All the points that I’ve mentioned above should help you get your AdSense account approved in no time.

I have tried these tricks personally a lot of times and got AdSense approval immediately. First, I got my AdSense account approved by applying everything mentioned above.

To make sure it’s not just mere luck, I guided my friend too, and he also got his AdSense account approved the third day of application.

So, just follow the steps given in this article. If you have any doubts or queries related to any part of this tutorial, then feel free to drop a comment in the comments section below. Cheers!
